Smithtown Area Boasts Two Miss LI Contestants

Both contestants are from Nesconset.

Two contestants from the Smitthown area will be competing in 12 days for the Miss Long Island and Miss Teen Long Island crown when the pageant hits the Patchogue Theater for Performing Arts on August 11.

Amanda Luisi, a Nesconset resident who attends Smithtown East High School will be competing in the Miss Teen division and Nesconset resident Dana Wachter will be competing in the Miss Long Island division.

The pageant is produced by Dazzle D. Productions and the winner of Miss Long Island in both divisions secure a chance to win Miss New York USA in Donald Trump's celebrated pageant.

According to the pageant's official website, spots are still available to sign up for the competition.
