Motorcyclist Killed in Hauppauge Crash

The 40-year-old Hauppauge man was found dead at the scene, police said.

A Hauppauge man was killed Thursday morning when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle.

According to police, Robert Wesolowski, 40, of Hauppauge, was riding a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle west on Express Drive North at 5:30 a.m. when he struck a 1994 Nissan Quest traveling north on Lincoln Boulevard, driven by Boanerge Arias, 25, of Central Islip and one passenger, his wife, Rosa Servellon.

Wesolowski was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A female passenger on the motorcycle, who has not been identified, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition. Servellon was also transported to Southside Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Arias, who was not injured, was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The vehicles were impounded for a safety inspection.
