Library Budget Vote, Kicks for Cancer Highlight Tuesday

Here's what you need to know.

Good morning, Hauppauge. Here's what Tuesday is looking like in town.

Weather

It should be a perfect fall day with a sunny day forecasted and a high of 70 degrees. 

Events

  • "Kicks for Cancer," a cancer fundraising event, and boys and girls varsity soccer games in memory of HHS student Courtney Tomkin will be held at the Hauppauge High School track starting at 4 p.m. 
  • Polls are open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. to vote on the Smithtown Special Library District's proposed $13.8 million 2014 budget. All Town of Smithtown residents who are registered voters can cast their ballot at any of the library's four branches: Smithtown, Nesconset, Commack and Kings Park.
